:disgust: Thank god this story has a good ending ... the guy who took the car out is a real @sshole too. He wasn't sorry about anything he did, made racial slurs, and mentioned how many other times he has done this before... and today he was arrested:D:)

I read this last nite and couldn't beleive we had a real re-enactment of the Mustang Story that was posted here not long ago (couldnt find link)

RSX joyride... and the consequences

The stupidity of this guy is AMAZING. Too bad no charges are going to stick to him because he was working for the garage company. At least he got a good scare by being arrested. Now the garage company is in deep sh*t.

I read the first two posts by that guy and I'm gonna have to call BS. Totally made up to mock the mustang story.

Read the thread, turns out that he really did scratch it up and mess up a few other things as well. He got arrested.

Agreed, 100%. I'm calling BS after 2 posts as well. This is not a Mustang story, this is RSX forum satire.

Who knows if it's true. It does sound fake.

Something similar happened to me a few years ago. My blazer was in the mechanics shop, and one of the employees took it for a ride after hours. I got a call around midnight from the police saying that a drunk guy and a woman were pulled over in a nearby suburb. He spilled cheap cologne inside and supposedly drank some to hide the alchol. He was still in jail the next day, but I don't remember what the charges were or the final outcome.

looks legit to me too...

I am glad people are making examples out of these idiots... now others working at body shops or garages will think twice before taking our cars on joyrides...

I read all three pages, and to tell the truth I think it's all a set-up by this moderator to drum up traffic at their website.

I think the mod made a fake name... the mod IS this "guy". No way in hell someone would describe the car in that detail.

No they won't. They'll just think twice about posting their stories on the internet.

Yep, I think it's all pretty fishy as well. As I said, I think this "mod" made a fake name, and posted this crap himself.

my thoughts exactly. that would be like some supposed moron coming here and posting about shoplifting from some little computer shop up in kent, wa while the owner was in the back smoking a cig... way too many coincidences to seem legit.

I'm leaning towards "Crap! I dinged my bumper doing something stupid and I need to make up an alibi before the next time I meet my friends from Tri-State RSX and have to admit it."

It just doen't seem right....the "characters" seem too one-dimensional.

Or perhaps, after seeing the publicity that the other incident brought, perhaps he was thinking he could fabricate some publicity for the board he's a part of?

I assure you that this is real. He is a moderator of the site and he knows many of the people from the board because he is the local organizer of the RSX group.

Oh well, just glad my car has been okay... I hope. No valet for me, I am too poor.
