so its about 3am here in hawaii and i was up doing my Ikariam stuff when I heard a loud strange noise outside. The noise sounded something like a commercial airplane flying really low to the ground. Planes don't usually fly that low here and they don't usually make that much noise. Well, it didn't really bother me at first, but after 4-5 minutes of that noise i decided to go outside onto my balcony to check it out ( i live on the 11th floor in a condo). Had my glasses on, i looked into the sky and i could see strange lights flashing... they were about the same size as the stars in the sky but it was arranged in a strange formation. I know they were not stars because all the lights seem to blink the same way. And since there were stars that night, i was able to compare real stars to the blinking lights to determine that the blinking lights were not stars. These strange lights seems to form a line across the sky and each "set" of light consists of 2 blinking lights which blinks alternately. they were moving across the sky towards the north direction. On the far right side of the formation, i could see one single blinking light trying to "catch up" to the rest of the formation, which i think thats the light that was making all the strange noise. At this point, i must have been standing there for a good 2 minutes or so staring strangely at these blinking lights. The next thing i thought to myself was, "crap! i should record this", so i ran into my room and grabbed my digital camera and went back out on the balcony. Only took me about 20-30 sec to get the camera and went back to the balcony. But at this point, the blinking lights were already way up north and was almost out of sight.... i could only see the last 2 sets of blinking lights blinking and decided not to take the picture since it was too dark and my camera was probably not going to pick up the image anyways.... it was weird.
