It's now day 7 and I'm still waiting on my memory. I called them for a third time and after about ten rings, someone finally picked up. I told him I wanted a tracking number and the guy was like, "Uh...we don't have one yet, GeIL is supposed to give it to us." So I assumed the guy was an idiot and called GeIL myself. Guess what, I got the tracking number. All I had to do was call them and ask for it. SVC made it seem so hard. What's worse is that I tracked the order and I won't get sh*t until March 8th. I'm through with this company. They made me pay for 14 day shipping. That's a f*cking letter to Grandma in f*cking China.

FrozenCPU 2 days standard, Sidewinder 2 days standard, NewEgg 3 days tops, Monarch 3 days tops, SVC...14 gawdawful days. For a stick of goddam value RAM. F*ck 'em.

Leave some feedback on Resellerratings, Bizrate, Yahoo, etc. Bitchin' about it here is useless.

It's not useless at all. The more you know about vendors the better. Not to mention the fact that very recently 2 different threads posted on AT bitching about Monarch definitely made a difference.

Thats pretty bad... I do have to say, I have had pretty good service with SVC over the last couple years ( maybe made 6 purchases )

I agree, leave something negative under Reseller Ratings

I love SVC. I've called their customer support many times to change orders at the last minute, and I've had no problems at all contacting them via phone.

Personally I dont think Mr. Controversial is telling the truth.

People just done pick up the phone and tell you that the maufacturer is going to provide a tracking number. I have bought from and talked to SVC multiple times. While they sometimes do not give a tracking number a quick E-Mail and in about 30mins i always get one. Very nice retailer.

So you're calling me a liar. Also, while calling me a liar you ASSume that I have nothing better to do than make up BS stories about vendors that I don't like for some reason. Well, then, you're a child molester. I don't know you, but since we're conveniently impugning the integrity of others, I'll just join you.

FYI, if you didn't see my first thread on this topic, when I ordered memory from SVC's site based on the premise that it was IN STOCK like the website said (and still says to this day), but they didn't have it in stock and instead ordered it directly from GeIL and had it drop-shipped to me with 7 day shipping. If I knew that this would be the case then I should have saved money and gone with USPS. I had to call GeIL to get the shipping. That's like me making an online store saying I have a whole bunch of sh*t and when you order it, I charge you for 3 day FedEx and then log on to New Egg to order it for you, but send it to you regular snail mail. You'd be pissed too.

If I was building this computer for a customer, I'd be f*cked and they'd never ask me to build something again. This computer was supposed to be DONE. But it's not cuz I'm waiting on RAM that I should have recieved on MONDAY.

A company can not just tell you that the manufacturer is going to take care of it. They cannot order the maunfacturer to ship directly to you. Once again you must be the only person here who has had 2 bad experiences IN A ROW.

I did not. I find it very unlikely that one of the highest rated e-retailers suddenly screws up majorly two times in a row, one of which being very unbusinesslike. I said personally i do not believe him. That is my opinion, disagree with it if you want, that is my take on the situation at hand.

Under NO circumstances did anything i said warrant such horrible language.

You didn't impugn his integrity? You said, in effect, that you thought he was a liar. This is simply the reality of the case. His (ill-advised) first move was to escalate, and call you something worse.

Instead of saying he was a liar, you could've just said you were very surprised and hadn't had any experiences like that. He, on the other hand, should never have called you a child molestor.

I think this is something we can all agree on, n'est-ce pas?

I'm with MrControversial on this one. I had problems with Monarch and of course there were a few jackasses on here that said it had to be my fault since they have ordered from Monarch with zero problems.
Yea, there is no way SVC could screw up. :roll:

And I thought his comment was funny. A bit over the top maybe, but funny none the less. It's not like we are now going to think you actually are.

SVC has screwed me over a bit before..they are by no means an "excellent" retailer. They aren't horrible, but Id rather never order from them again.

I said PERSONALLY, in other words in my opinion. You cannot call someones opinion wrong it is what they believe. By typing "Personally" i just as well typed IMO.

If you dont think i am than why say it. Why say without any hint of sarcasm what you dont mean. I do not find it funny and as stated i find it extremely inappropriate and uncalled for.
