Never played a Sims game. Unless I can pull a Henry the VIII on people then I am not interested at all.

I've actually heard some people say they were never into the Sims games, but then they tried this Medieval one, and they really liked it. I dunno though... I got tired of this series after The Sims 2. That was a while ago.

Yes, but it sucks just like Sims 3 did.

Sims3 far from sucks..
best one of them all for sure..

but this one just blows. they took what makes the sims special and threw it all in the trash.

no building.. very little customization.. very little free time to do what you want..
it blows monkey nuts.

Yeah, from the way it sounds, it's pretty much just a dumbed down RPG in the Sims world where you can customize your house. So, it's pretty much nothing new.

Funny how they keep coming out with new adventure packs/new games yet there's still a bunch of stuff you can't do in the regular part of the game. Like split stair cases.

I've always wanted to try Sims but I've always been busy playing other stuff. Maybe one of these days I'll get into it.

Here's my problem with the original sims...

1) Create my sim
2) Start his life
3) Sims wants to piss.
4) Sim literally spends three hours pissing
5) Sim wants to eat
6) Sim literally spends 3 hours eating
7) Sim wants to piss and shit
8) Ignore it.
9) Sim pisses pants
10) Sim wants to bathe due to fecal matter and urine on pants
11) Sim spends four hours in bath
12) Sim tired. Wants to sleep

Zzzzzzzzzzzzz

In the end I just ignored everything until he cried all day. Possibly because he was wearing shit encrusted pants and starving to death.

Hope they fixed that in the newer games.

His username says everything you need to know. :p

Sims 3 is like any other sim game I've played. Instead of managing a city, it's a doll house, with overpriced DLC. I spent two hours yesterday making a near perfect replica of my own house. It's a guilty pleasure. ^_^

Managing Sims always sucked. My friend and I would always just make a family with a really ugly kid, drown it in a pool by deleting all of the ladders after it gets in, and then laugh while the family cries because their kid is dead.

Hmm... so the regular Sims crowd doesn't like this game? Sounds promising then...

actually so far no one likes it..
reviews are not good at all.

and its boring as hell..

BTW for the above posters.. MODS MODS and More Mods..
makes the sims games alot better..

specially the "adult" content and the mod devices that override pretty much anything in the game.

Sims Medieval is a separate game. I suppose if you like The Sims you'll like Sims Medieval. The reviews I have seen are mixed like most of the series. You either like The Sims or you don't. If you like it then SM is for you.
