If its a Maine my excellent compatriot cat I could see it. Friends cat is one and its always playing in its water dish, and whatever container with water it can find. Haven't seen it crawl in the toilet though.

When our cat was a kitten, she would crawl in my shorts (which were down) when I was on the shitter, curl up and play with the zipper or button.

"Is that a kitten in your shorts, or are you just happy to see me??" :whiste:

My cat used to put his front paws down in the bowl, and keep his rear end up on the seat, in order to drink from the bowl. I repeatedly told him I crapped in that bowl, but he didn't seem to care. I finally just started putting the lid down, so he couldn't do it anymore.

My cat likes to walk around under my hand while I'm sitting on the crapper. Kind of a self petting deal with her. I just keep my hand there and she walks around under it purring.

She loves my sink in the bathroom too and she rubs up against it constantly which is disgusting because it turns all brown after a while. I don't even use it anymore because she is constantly marking it as her territory.

Mine flushes it. Or it will hold the handle down just enough so that water runs and runs and runs, and she will just stare at me while doing it until I get up.

I've had 9 cats in my life. Every single one at one point has jumped in the toilet while I was using it.

You would think I'd learn to shut the damn door, but instead I've learned that trying to wash a cat covered in urine is even less fun then trying to wash a cat.

I have to keep the toilet lid at least closed or the bathroom door closed. My cat loves to drop whatever it can pick up in its mouth in the toilet otherwise. It started to get real annoying having to fish out a roll of electrical tape, pens, bottle caps (I leave these around for a bit cause the cat loves them), and other small items. Nothing like having to rush to drop a deuce but stopping to pull crap out of the toilet before putting real crap in there. Speaking of which... I'll be back in 10.

To those people who say their cat interacts with them while they're crapping: Do you not close the bathroom door when you crap or something?

Then they just sit outside the door, meow and keep sticking their paws under the door until you open it. Besides, its lonely in there!

An ex girlfriend's cat used to play in water. If he heard water running, he'd sprint for it with eyes wide open. He loved to paw at faucet water, lick his paw, then paw at the water again  cuuuuuute

Yep..for some reason, (social) cats do not like closed doors if there's a person they want to see on the other side. :p

Our cat does that too. It's funny, because she can be asleep anywhere in the house, but as soon as she hears that toilet seat go up she comes running. It's a little twisted, but she must figure she has a captive audience. It guarantees a few minutes of petting.

She also loves the shower. Anytime time either of us takes a shower the cat will sit right outside the shower door, just waiting for us to step out so she can go in. It doesn't matter if we just put fresh water in her bowl or not, she thinks the shower water is better.

None of my three cats have shown any interest in the toilet, let alone climbing inside. One of them will occasionally dip his paw in his water dish and lick it off, but that's about it.
