Uh, do you take your clothes off when you go #2 ?

I have 2 friends who say they takes off their shirt when they go umm, #2. I've never heard of anyone doing this. Is this normal, and I'm missing out on something? They say they don't like the obstruction....

Uhm... I don't. But when using squatters (recent trip to Taiwan) I couldn't figure out a way to go #2 without endangering my pants. So I had to literally take them off... too much information huh? hehehe...
