I've tried various compatibilty fixes (run as admin, run as winxp) but I can't seem to get uGuru to work under windows 7. I really don't need to run it often, but it's annoying that it just wont work at all.

It runs, and it shows on the taskbar, but it just refuses to open up as a regular window.

Using version 3109 which is the last version released by Abit. This shows up as version 3105 according to Windows 7...?

While the comments are appreciated, uGuru is a whole lot more than a simple temperature monitoring and (single) fan speed control program. I don't even leave the uguru app running since it's really a buggy POS. But, I don't know of any other apps that can fully configure an Abit fan control system. Every single fan header in a uguru motherboard is configurable based on a choice of several temp sensors for 6v-12v.

Try 3103. That's what I'm using and it's working under Windows 7 Build 7100 x64

the uGuru section of the BIOS (although iirc that doesn't let you set down to 6V)?

I used the BIOS to control my fans on my IP35-E. Heat isn't much of an issue for me, really, so it was primarily to keep them near silent unless something serious and heat-generating is happening.
