As I walked the streets and stores of 101 and NY,NY I found out that most of the cute or hot girls are attached to these horrific looking guys. Needless to say, I was utterly shocked and saddened; Am I not ugly enough to pick up a Taiwaanese girl?

a post a few days ago said because they do laundry and cook, and are educated hard workers and shiznats.
I have a pic of me with one of the girls who works atop Taipei 101 on the observation deck. I got her email and cell # and am awaiting her schedule to open up to meet up. I should be able to get the pics up by tomorrow.... I hope I don't screw this up

Seriously, probably money. I don't know about other asian nationalities, but in taiwan it's mostly the rich that end up in the US. Mommy and Daddy send them here. The gap between the rich and the poor in taiwan is supposed to be very large, much worse than in the US. As I understand it, middle class is not a majority segment in taiwan like it is in the US. My parents visit taiwan fairly often these days and the more i hear about it, the more i see it as modern free market/laissez fair gone too far.

Regardless of the gap, I've talked with the natives whom we in the US would consider poor, and they live in a pretty content style. I think the term is "ching-lao". Your view of Taiwan as a modern free market/laisse fair gone too far is accurate, but as long as the poor can sustain themselves and are content, then it will be fine.

They have money. Female humans are naturally attracted to money and power, the looks of the guy are secondary.
