And what if the character that they're playing isn't supposed to be drop-dead gorgeous? You couldn't have Angelina Jolie playing Muriel in Muriel's Wedding. It just doesn't work.

Not to mention how the entertainment industry effects the self-esteem and self-image of the average woman.
