Ugliest uniform in sports history?

I'm watching a replay of the 1982 Stanley Cup finals and I can't take my eyes off of the Vancouver Canuck's Uniforms. They look like they were designed by a sadistic drunk ex-stripper grandmother with a clown fetish.

My eyes, they bleed.

I too left my TV on after tonight's preseason game. That Vancouver uniform is pretty terrible. But it's noteworthy for being terrible at a time when it shouldn't have been terrible. You see NFL jerseys from the 30s (e.g. Pittsburgh) and they look terrible, but you figure at the time they must have been ok. That Vancouver Jersey is terrible for any time period.

I agree.. I liked it... I doubt a team could get away with it now.. it was almost a painter hat though.
