my vote would go for any of the scions or that chrysler that everyone loves...

I used to think the focus was ugly...but not as bad as some of the boxes coming out today...

hell people call scions stylish...just but a 1992 volvo and save the money

If they still make the Aztec, it's right up there. That Scion model that looks like a rolling brick is in the running too.

WTF?

I thought everyone knew that Aztek was the ugliest car in production.

It's no longer in production
Oh, good. We can only hope the designers were taken out back and shot when the car was abandoned.

In that case, my vote is a three way tie between the Scion xA, xB and Honda Element.

Hummer (or any equivalent right angle box on wheels). The Hummer 2 just happens to be one of the largest boxes).

yeah i agree with all of those you posted...good to see there are sane people in this world...

the aztek would be the top of my list, but i know they are no longer in production

I actualy drove a couple for a while becuase my friend was a manager who sold them at a dealership...they are actually pretty roomy and cool in the back. They have an awesome big back window, that allows for an awesome view and would be pretty interesting to take them camping and sleep with the blow up matress in the back...but that takes all the fun out of camping...

IMO the list looks like this, in order:

1. Pontiac Aztek
2. Chevrolet SSR
3. PT Cruiser convertible (I actually like the hardtop, though)
4. Chevy Avalanche (with cladding)
5. Kia Amanti
6. Lexus ES330

Why all the hate for the xB? :D For one thing, the xB is the epitome of minimalistic design. It's boxy, sure but at least all the body panels are body colored and it looks like a cohesive design...albeit a boxy one.

Now something like the Element which is half unpainted plastic and half painted metal just looks gawd awful tacky if you ask me. It's the same reason why I hate the X3 and "original" Avalanche. OTOH, I happen to like the normal "de-cladded" Avalanche.
