Arrrgh!
I just set up my first raid 0 (striping) using an abit kg7 raid and 2 ibm 75gxp hds running windows XP. Every time xp boots it asks me
'New hardware found 'Via Busmaster Ide'. Now is this driver even supposed to work in a Raid config? The driver disk that came with the mobo didnt work so I downloaded AMDSVCPK driver from abit, the 5e kg7 bios inc hipoint bios, latest hipoint 370 drivers, the via 4in134v's from http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=2. Now every time winxp boots it asks for FOUND NEW HARDWARE WIZARD 'VIA BUSMASTER IDE DRIVERS'. I let it run, point physically to where the drivers were downloaded, but it says it doesnt contain information for my hardware, goes to internet, then nothing.
Ok I know Im making a silly mistake somewhere, but this is my first raid set up.
