its been blocked by my work for a while, and i don't really care to see all there is on there, but on the occasional thread where somone posts a photo of their dog or something, it would be nice to be able to see... but its not the end so i don't care

oh yeah, i'm used to it...no ebay, no amazon, no IMDB, no photo sites...i can't even check my google mail from work. it's a great environment for my happiness.

I realize that companies have to block innapropriate websites, but I feel that some of them go overboard with their filtering. If it's slacking off that they're worried about, then they could track which sites people visit, not just block everything.

My former employer blocked gmail.com but... gmail.google.com worked great!

Oh yeah, they blocked ebay.com, so I just used ebay.co.uk
