So I wake up this morning to Kevin Lyttle screaming at the top of his lungs "TURN ME ON!!11" and I feel my bed SHAKING. No joke guys.

The guy below me has a huge system in his room I guess. My feet rumble with every beat, I kind of feels cool. But not really, this is already pissing me off and this just started today.

I will be seeing management today and bringing them up to my room when I get a hold of them.

Mm...he's playing Lean Back right now! :|

Btw...my roomates can feel it and hear it too through their walls....

Haha.... that sux ... go to management and get him a noise citation
In college we had Infinity powered speakers that would shake the hall, needless to say we had plenty of noise violations.

Are you in an apartment? This problem won't last long. Let management know and have a detailed account of length of play, etc.

Its not ok. Talk to management, and if that goes no where, then its time for a towel party.

When we were at school, and visiting my bestmate's dorm, we received several complaints from the other students that we were making too much noise on a Saturday night. We were playing music, having a few pints, etc. These geeks kept bitching all night, and it was unneccesary.

Just before we left for the bar, we cranked (and I mean cranked) "Got The Life" by Korn, hit repeat, locked the door, opened the window, and left.

When we returned later that evening the door had been smashed open.

Just go down and tell him to turn it off
If he refuses - beat the sh!t out of him, then give a good leg kick to the speaker cones and throw his sub out of the window.

And who had to pay for the door? That was just stupid.

We've got some retards on our hall who have keyboards and guitars and junk, I wish I could break them over their heads since I'm trying to get some sleep and it's often past midnight.

Some people need to discover headphones in my dorm too =(

Amen. Quiet hours start at 10pm Sunday-Thursday and midnight friday and saturday for me and last 12 hours. I really really like that system. Of course, when you're hellraising outside of those hours, you are expected to accomidate when someone complains. Of course, the only reason I have a police scanner now is so I can hear them coming :)

My neighbor down the hall from me during summer school... who I posted a thread about a few months ago.... had a panic disorder and called the cops every time I whispered in my sleep. After he broke into my room to video tape me, I started a no-mercy policy, where I would blow him away at all hours until I heard the police dispach que up and the cops on the ground give the 10-90 that they were on the way up

Audigy 2 ZS + Z-680's

Sony MDR-700DJ's for any use during quiet hours :)

sorry, no, just because it's outside that time doesn't mean you have the right to be as loud as you want.
