UGH! My temp jumped from 46c to 53c for no reason!

i'm waiting for an 8045 to arrive. right now i'm using the stock sink on my 1900+/abitKR7A. i was just readin mail and then all of a sudden it jumped to 53c and my alarms started going off!!! what happened!!?!!

Thts is normally/general temp for stock cooler w/ thermal pad.
