Well I am watching tv and about 30-45 min the tv does THIS

The only way to fix it is to turn off the tv and turn it back on.

What does this mean.. How can I fix this..

Thanks

What type of TV is it? What brand? What model?

Is the problem on all the channels?

Do you have this problem playing DVDs?

the more details you give us the better.

Is it a Mitsubishi by any chance? I had a 55" that was doing pretty much the same thing. I ended up re soldering the convergence IC's and it went back to a pretty picture.

It happens on all channels. Its A Toshiba Rear Projection TV , Sorry don't know the model number. Like I said it only happens when it wants to. I just have to simply turn off and then turn on the tv and its all good for the remaining time until it does it again

Its either a convergence problem or by the looks of the concave a tube problem with one of the tube or boards to the tube going bad.
