UGH, It's that time of year again...

... and I don't have a date for the Prom yet! I'm afraid I might end up going with someone I really despise (OMG, she is sooo annoying) who was nagging me to go with her earlier this year... I don't know what to do! I have only about 3 weeks until the tickets are taken off for sale for me to find a date; boy does anxiety suck! So how did some of you guys end up gathering the courage to ask out your prom dates?

Just get the mentality of "if she says no, it's no big deal." I know that's easier said than done, but that's what I try. I got a gorgeous date to homecoming that way this year. Too bad she later turned out to be bisexual and started dating a female friend of mine. :Q

i never had much balls asking girls out.....but i did have a g/f for both proms(same one actually). So I never had to worry about asking a girl to the prom.

yea but this is THE SENIOR PROM... it's something you just can't miss! Yea, I know, people jazz it up to be way more important or bigger than it really is, but I would still feel bad if I didn't go.

I'm a guy and I'm going to my 11th grade prom. One of my best friends is a lesbian, and she asked me! I said sure, and now we're a date (hmm, I wonder if she is totally &quot;lesbian&quot; ) Anyways, I got my TUX today. 80 freaking BUCKs!!!!!! What a crapload of money. But, it's not as bad as my friends, her dress was $150.
