Oh man, too bad you don't have the same schedule I used to run when I was doing researching.. up by .. noon.. maybe? Waltz into lab.. 1-2pm.. work till.. shrug.. 9? Go out afterward.. rinse and repeat daily. Miss those days. Tell you what tho, loading a PCR/gel with a hangover is god awful.
 
off work in an hour, and then I get to figure out what to do until the meet 9 hours later, and then work starts 6 hours after the meeting. Worst part is, I can't sleep during the 9 hours, because I have to take Tylenol PM to sleep, and that requires 10 hours....

it's 5am now and i get off at seven, then drive four hours to oklahoma to pick up my brother who had just enough ff miles to get that far. at least i get to see him, it's been a year. i'm hitting the local coffee house as soon as i get off for a headbanger (large coffee of the day with 2 shots of espresso.) at least i only have to drive there, and he's driving back.

I'm on extended holidays you could say, lol.

Long story short, what I thought to be as senseless fun was seen as pushing the envelope and I'm "relieved of my duties" until further notice. Never seen so much drama and politics in my working life.

LOL. I wish that worked. I'm not a sleepy drinker. Plus my tolerance is high, so it would be incredibly expensive too. Yay things I learned in the Navy. 😀
