That state is a perfect example of Democratic policy gone bad.

Tax and spend, tax and spend. When the tax revenue dries up due to people making and spending less money, what do they do?

Cut some of the programs that were created with the last increase? HELL NO!

Lets just raise the taxes!

At least the Governator is smart enough to know that when things are tight, shit needs to get off the payroll.

Gotta love it: "We don't have enough money! Raise taxes!"

When will people stand up to the political machine? It's proven that raising taxes DOES NOT increase revenue a significant amount. All it does is depress spending. People are almost as good at avoiding taxes as politicians are at creating them.

From 1979-2006 the correlation between federal tax revenue from all sources and average tax burden across all sectors was 0.141514. That's almost a flat line.
