So I've been using Win2k for a really long while now and it has been stable like a rock.

But nowt these crashes are happening very frequently to me, and it usually happens when I have 3-4 windows open at a time which used to work finely.

What should I do?

what did you just install?

check to see if you have any spyware on your system, like gator, etc.

Ah, I found this Webenhancer thing that loads up..no idea how it got there.

Let's remove it and see how it goes. Thanks.

webhancer comes with audiogalaxy, DO NOT REMOVE IT! It will screw with your connection after you do. It's spyware! Download Ad aware (a quick search of hotfiles.com will find it) and use it to remove webhancer.

In order to properly remove Webhancer, first make sure AG satellite isn't running in the tray. Then go to add/remove programs, and uninstall Webhancer. Then restart, and use Ad-Aware to remove any traces left by Webhancer.

This is how I do it, and my system is fine, including AG.

Okay I removed webhancer from my start up thing, but now when I close a window, all my IE windows close. For example if I have 5 IE windows open and I close one, all 5 close. Does this still involve Webhancer too? I'm too lazy to do the fix..
