ugh id3 tags got all fubared.

so there's basically a compressed mirror of my music on my HDD mp3 player (iriver ihp-120). somehow all the mp3 tags got all kinds of screwed up. anyone know of a way to just copy over the id3 tags from the originals based on filename or something like that?

dude... you are lucky. My whole collection got the tags fuxed by foobar....

Think you are going to have to copy it all over again... the tag isn't seperate from the file.

UNLESS you use something like tag&rename to copy tags from files on comp. to files on player. (if you can access the player as an HDD)
