UGH...I think my media drive is about to fail

I store my music collection and my Windows XP unattended install source on this drive, as well as my installation of Steam and UT2K4.

The SMART diagnostic program shows that the "Seek Error Rate" is 100, and the "threshold" is 23, and the "worst" is 1.

The drive is out of warranty (80GB Maxtor that's about 3.5 yrs. old), so it looks like I'm now in the market for a new HDD.

🙁

QFT...backup NOW!

Currently backing up - I'm using Windows Backup. Is that okay, or should I just be copying over all my data to my other drive?

Perhaps I'll do both.
