Ugh
I don't know why
I was browsing overstock.com, I needed sheets, and I had to see what these '$240' sheets must feel like.....

...i feel like a woman

Not more of a comfort issue, for me, higher thread count means longer sheet life and overall strength when you need it.

Heh. I had attempted to order some sheets from JCpenny a few weeks back. They have been on backorder for several weeks so I canceled them the other day. These are sheets with the same TC and at a similar price. I splurged a little and just got the 600TC and some new pillows. I hate my current sheets.

Do you think these 400tc will make a difference over the like 130tc sheets I have now that I bought at Target for 12 bucks?

I would say yes. I used to have 400tc sheets at my parent's house. When I moved and got a new bed and sheets I bought some 150tc from walmart. The differences in the two is astounding. One feels like you are sleeping on sandpaper and the other is quite soft.

Well good, maybe it will give some ladies more incentive to stay over.....

You sure have been busy beating the salami, haven't you?

Yo, it's totally worth it. I dropped a few hundred a while back on a nice duvet and a down comforter. If you can afford it, bedding (and personal care in general) is one of the things that should be high on your spending priorities, in my opinion.

if a person spends about 1/3 of their life sleeping, I think it's a good idea to spend your money accordingly. If you're in the car during a lot of your day, buy a nice car, if you spend a lot of time on the computer, buy a nice computer, buying nice sheets may be a little womanly, but you'll sleep better because of it.

I see you went the cheep route.

Here are the sheets I use.
I use to get the cheap ones , but for my wedding we got some CKs and now I cant go back to cheap sheets.

I don't know ....sheets, clothes, furniture anything that is look and feel I still feel obligated to buy B&M.

Edit: you got ripped😛 price/performance the 600TC is the best deal @$80. 33% more thread only 20% more denero.

Yea but I would be spending $80 on sheets. By your logic, a Camaro SS is the best car out there because it has 330 hp and <$28K or so.

I've spent that on sheets, but flannel.

Always wanted to get some satin, but satin sheets are expensive all around.

Satin sheets are great! There's nothing like jumping into bed and sliding off like a greased pig!

the best thing about satin sheets is that you can slide off, you'll spend an hour or so just sliding around and falling off when you get them
