Ugh! I hate it when you have your heart set on something and

you get bumped.

I got bumped by UCSB today.. now the fate of UCI is in question. I dont know if any other school has my field in the UC system. Now I have to wait for ghetto schools like Calstate Bakersfield, Hayward and Sacramento to respond.

UCSB said 3 things werent of compliance, my GPA requirement isnt minimum 2.4.. huh I was quite sure it was more than that.. then they go these following classes cannnot be transferred (huh.. according to the college transfer catalog I can transfer them - no wonder my GPA didnt make it).. then they go you dont have 60 semester units (90 quarter) minimum.. hello your supposed to wait until my fall semester to get over.. either case I was at 60 units.. and by the end of the fall I would have had 75 units..

I have to talk to the counsellor.. these counsellors are nuts.. they give different stories.. no they better not tell me I cant graduate with an AA before transferring..

UGH!

I had so much of my heart placed at UCSB.. I dont think I can sleep tonite.... I wanted UCSB because of a prof and the fact its the top school in my field.. and its got the newest building.. plus my building is like 30 seconds from the beach.
