Ugh, I don't know what I want to do with my life

So pretty much I've dropped out of real engineering, originally I was going to do Mechanical Engineering. Since I've done that, I was taking MET classes so I can switch over to that. I actually like MET more since it's less theory and more hands on (applying theory) designing and producing and avg starting pay is only about $3000 less, but it's less prestigious.

However, now I don't even know if I want to do that, I have a lot of interest in business/managing also. Industrial technology (similar to Industrial engineering) is like MET, but a LOT broader and has more managing type classes. The kicker is that the avg starting pay is only about $40,000, $6000 less than MET.

I don't know what I want to do more, I kinda like IT because I will have more job options since and can choose what to specialize in as there are a lot more electives, but then it pays a lot less.

Probably should not take mine either.

But wait, does that mean we SHOULD take advice from ATOT.... Because you are on ATOT giving advice to not take advice from ATOT when you are on ATOT yourself giving out the advice to not take it... so should we take it or not and oh my god BRAIN EXPLODES

I'm not really asking for advice, I'm not going to make a decision based on opinions of people I don't even know and who probably don't know anything about either major. I was just kind of venting my frustrations and would like to discuss.

Than which major would prepare me better for something like that?
