ugh! Help me identify a song!

Can anyone that listens to rock/alternative/indie ID a song that has been on the radio for a while now (I don't think it's that old) that has a lyric at the beginning that goes "Tell us a story, I know you're not boring" or something along those lines?

I heard it twice on the radio a couple days ago and I love the guitar work.. I must hear it again!

It sounds like something from The Fratellis but I dunno.

used google for the lyrics you supplied.

Oh and by the way.. if you type "Tell us a story, I know you're not boring LYRICS" into google it yields better results every time.
