Ugh, dead pixel on "new" 17" Viewsonic LCD

I got a "new" LCD monitor from Fry's today, $499-$100 IR-$70 MIR, and I already see a bright green spot about halfway up the screen, 3/4 to the right.

Hope my trip back to Fry's doesn't tempt me to get anything else.

They won't replace it unless it's 7-8 or more dead pixels. Besides, you won't even see it after you boot up.

Thats nothing! I bought a Samsung 172X from Newegg the other day and it arrived with 4 dead pixels in the center of the screen. I called and called and called until they agreed to refund my money. An angry Black man can be very persuasive.

If that's the Sharp then I got the same one, but no dead pixels. And to cr4zymofo, he can just return it and buy another one.
