Ugh, choosing a cellphone for the pops

His trusty Samsung A460 is toast, rather the screen is. So he needs a replacement. He's eligible for one of those "$150 rebate with two year contract extension" offers so off I went to the Sprint website... only to be disappointed. How hard is it to have a relatively inexpensive flip phone with a decent external screen but with no camera? Oy! After all, it's what the A460 is. Dear old dad wants just a phone, not a camera, etc. Heck, he doesn't even use the phone book feature. Maybe it's off to eBay to look for an exact replacement... Any other suggestions? TIA.

The cameras are stupid, but I still went with an Samsung A670 (with verizon) just for the outside screen (camera had no standing in the decision). Just ignore the camera when determining what phone to purchase.

Heh, thanks. Prices on eBay are ridiculous for a replacment A460 compared to the prices after rebate from Sprint for the fancier phones (but which have a camera which he doesn't want).

I've gotten the word that it's OK to spend a little dough to get the right phone so what do you guys think of the "VI-3155i by Nokia®"? A bit of overkill with some of the features but I think the built-in FM radio is something he'd like (that and the longer claimed battery life). It has a nice, big external screen to boot.

Edit: $40 after rebate
