Rock solid 585/1145 with the 84.21s :D

I didn't see any difference in the few games i played with the 91.45s before i got sick of the crashing so i'm quite happy ;)

TRAA was fun tho...

Yes, it will take a lot to budge me from the 85.96 set i'm using. Nothing in the 90 series drivers has excited me much yet (apart from T:AA for GF6).

so what have you played Far Cry like 29 times by now, I mean sure it is a great game but not worth playing more than once MAYBE twice

same with FEAR, HL2, Q4

But the 91.45s work fine with my 6800 and TAA is nice

I don't know if they're bad at stock speeds, since i didn't even bother trying...they certainly couldn't cope with the same speeds my previous drivers could...

I enjoy playing it with a mate after a few beers ;)

Looks awesome, it's pretty challenging on the hardest setting after a few beers, and great fun ;)

So are the 91.45 drivers just to give a bone to those who still have the 6 series or do they do anything new for the 7 series. Anyone with a 7 series card notice any improvements in IQ or speed?

That driver is for the 7950GX2 ONLY.

I have no idea why people who have single card setup expect some sort of a performance jump from quad SLi drivers.

Silly boy, i wanted to try the TRAA out on my 6 series card ;) At no stage did i mention expecting better performance, the same would have been good tho :p

It was nice & all, but not worth the crashing ;)

I'm playing farcry (last stage) patched 1.33 with the tweakrus version of 91.45 but there is no crashing for me (Asus EN7900GT unvoltmodded). Haven't tried HL2.

Ummmm I wonder if these buggy drivers are why Vr-zone's bench was so off. He said he used them with the 7950GX2, but these drivers should be perfect for that card because of the quad sli driver thing.

Kinda OT I wish there was a game where I could go around and kill the people who made Farcry I hate that game to high heaven. Ok I am done now.

They are nvidia's "official" beta quad sli drivers, with an unexpected (and unplanned I'm sure) benefit for GF6 users. It will be interesting to see if GF6 T:AA stays enabled in later drivers or not (personally I think it was accidently overlooked before releasing the drivers).

I dunno about you but I haven't had any crashes/hangs with the XG 91.45 driver set. I've tried GW, CS:S, HL2 and WC3. They all work fine.

I had upgraded to the 91.33's and had numerous crashes in Call of Duty2 while i was playing. I couldn't handle it anymore and went back to the 84.21's and haven't had another crash since.

I haven't been very impressed with the official 91.xxs. One set kept saying I unplugged one of my SLI cards (I don't have SLI). The same set froze Windows when I tried to open the ForceWare control panel. The latest 91.xx set crashed my whole Windows. Not impressed at all. Their latest Linux drivers have been 100% rock solid for me, not that they're nearly as complex. What did they change between 84.xx and 91.xx that caused all these problems?

84.21s for me and rock solid; more recent versions make make my rig more crash-prone. With Video Card drivers, I definetly take a 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' approach.

I too am still using the 84.21's with my 6800GT.

I don't plan to even bother with the 91.45's just to use TRAA. I'm sure it's nice, but I have to turn off most goodies anyways to play at a decent resolution in GRAW (that's the only game I'm really playing right now).

OT:
How could anyone hate Farcry. It may not be your favorite, but I can't imagine anyone not at least thinking the game is good. IMO it's the best FPS game ever made. Personally I can't wait for Crysis to come out and hopefully it will be even better than Farcry.
