Hey all...I have no idea what just happened. I was playing Counter-Strike and I got a windows lockup. So I reboot, and try again. Another lock-up. I try playing DiabloII...and for awhile it works fine....then I get an endless loop of sound and everything else locks up.

So, I turn off the power, uplug the power cord and then clear the CMOS. Boots fine and I get back into windows 98. Start up DiabloII and get the same looping sound error. Try rebooting again...this time into WinXP (dual booting) and I get a wierd IRQH_Sharing error. So, I clear the CMOS again, and try booting up.

Now, I get no video signal, but the BIOS indicator says FF (which means everything is fine)....try reseating the Vid card, but nothing is working. I have no idea wtf is going on. The board and chip are about a week old and everything has been fine up until now.

System:
AMD XP1900
Hercules G2 Pro
256 Crucial 2400 DDR
IBM 7200 Deskstar
Western Digital 7200 Drive
Sony CDU 32X
LiteOn 16x10x20

Please help! :)

This is odd....My 8KHA+ behaved like so from day one. After going through 3 PSUs, 2 CPUs, testing my RAM, 3 video cards...etc... the board would provide no video signal, and the LED would only say FF. In addition, the fan header closest to the CPU socket on mine wasn't providing electricity to the fan. I had to RMA it. It's no use trying to make it work, because I spent days on the mobo, to no avail. RMA promptly.

Well SON OF A.....yeah, my system sounds the same! Stuck on FF (without any of the cycling) with absolutely no video signal. Great....just got done with surgery for a nasoseptoplasty (so I can breath better) and was looking forward to playing all weeked......NOOOOOOO :(

Thanks for your help!

Overman, btw, did you also get this 8KHA+ from Axiontech? That's where mine came from.... I wish I had bought from Newegg, and coughed up the tax that CA citizens have to pay... (I live in San Diego, and Newegg is in LA. Shipping would only take like one day)...

Strangely, the people at AT and AMDMB weren't able to help me with this problem. I only have one suggestion: Axiontech support said that FF indicates the lack of a CPU. Try another Sock A CPU, and be sure to insert deeply into the socket (Make sure the pins contact the socket well). If that doesn't work, then I can't think of anything else to do; then you can rma it.

Well I built one the same time I built a Asus and it run great for about two weeks then a blue screen so I reformatted it and it run great up till yesterday and showed every error know to man, It run so good I was ready to tell everyone that Epox was one of the best computers I have ever built, I reformatted it today and even before windows was on it locked up, I checked the video card, The memory and set the bios but the board is dead, I have never had a computer do that, I am not going to mess with it or send it back I am going with another board, No more Epox for me
