LTV-32w6 HD
LTV-32w4 HDC
LTV-32w3 HD
LTV-32w1

Are they basically all the same panel? I know the HD ones have built in HDTV tuners but what's the difference between the w3 and w6?

Is the intergrated DVD player worth it? I don't really care about all the wiz-bang dvd stuff, just as long as it plays.

Thanks

Don't get the intergrated DVD player, just one more thing to break, and if it does you have a working tv with a broken dvd player......

We own the Westinghouse LTV-32W1 which cost $809 back in November 2005, no it wasn't Black Friday. It was 2 weeks before that, so we didn't have to wait 10 hours in line. At the time it sold for $1,299 price so $809 out the door was a price I'm happy with.

Since it offers DVI but our cable HD DVR has HDMI, I bought an HDMI to DVI-D cable from Cables4Less.com for under $15 shipped. Works great.

If I were you, I would wait for another BB 10% off coupon.

AVS thread on the 37" and read STEELERSRULE's first post which asks:

What is the difference between the Westy LTV-32W3 and the Westy LTV-32W6?

Looking at the website, I can't see any differences between the two. In the specs. or anywhere.

Will both the W3 and W6 be available at Best Buy?

If anyone knows the difference's between the two please elaborate.

Rage187 also owns a Westinghouse 32" LCD and is a total fanboi :)

get the 37 (they had an open box/clearance at the Rochester Hills, MI BB for $1399) or the 42 since they both have 1080P.

Do you have an OTA HD tuner, HD cable or HD satellite or HTPC?

HTPC only though the DVI connection. Its entirely plug 'n play, too. No drivers or tweaking needed for the optimal resolution.

If you have an HDTV tuner card, which one and why?

I don't have one of those, sorry.

It would be really sweet if there were enough decent shows to justify the cost of HD cable/satellite and a HD tuner card... I'd love to build a MythTV box. But oh well ... :(

my space will on fit 35 inches wide so I don't think the 37 will fit. I'm not really too concerend about HDTV either. I have digital cable but no HD. I just want a good lcd.

 Isn't most of primetime HD now? HD ESPN and HDTV1 & 2 justify the cost for me!

I was going to go with the 32W3, but then I saw CNet's review of it saying it had a blue cast, and it has no color temp / individual color controls. The 32W6 (seemingly only found at BB) has color temp controls, a nicer UI in general, and a much nicer bezel. Too bad the moron at BB didn't tell me that the $1100 price he quoted me was a sale, now it's up to ~$1250 and I'm playing the waiting game, hoping it goes back down.
