Ug need some help with Office Pro

ok anyhow.. I accidently downloaded something and it messed up my Word a little.. it changed it to like Microsoft XP Pro with Frontpage... anyhow I uninstalled it and I was gonna install it again so that I would have it back to normal. ANYHOW to make a long story short my cd key doesnt work anymore (haxor kind)... anyone got any ideas? I think its because I downloaded a service pack 1 or something a LONG time back could that be it? anyhow anyone know how to get my office workin again? I just reinstalled office 2000..
 
I read a warning sometime back to not instaill SP1 if you don't have a legitimate CD KEY b/c they had programmed certain known ones to not work with SP1. I would guess that is where the problem lies. If it was way back, then a system restore is proabably out of the question. I would do a complete uninstall of Office and then reinstall it and NOT update to SP1. I would also start sentences with a word other than anyhow 😉
