Ufos..real or not?

What do you think? I find it hard to believe as big as the universe is we are the only life in all of it. I'm not saying other life forms have been here, but I think they are out there somewhere.

Ufos are probably real just because it's arrogant to think we're the only life in the universe. However, I don't think they fly silly things like flying saucers.

real but not from aliens; although I'm sure aliens exist they have just not visited earth.

Most likely from the future

why not? teh enterprise had a 'saucer' section 😉

UFO = Unidentified Flying Object
Therefore if something is flying and I don't know what it is, then it is a UFO.
So yes UFOs are real.
Aliens... well that is an entirely different question.

real.

the universe is far to large for there NOT to be life on other planets.

We really don't know how common or uncommon life is, but even assuming life's out there, traveling the imense distances to visit us presents a huge problem. We humans tend to see what we want to see, which I think explains the sightings.

I don't think anyone on Earth has ever seen aliens. But I do think they're out there. The distances involved are just too great.

UFOs are real. By their definition they are merely "unidentified flying objects" which doesn't mean they are aliens. Anything that isn't immediately known is hence labelled a UFO. Now, if you're asking if aliens or spaceship saucer-like objects are real then you're smoking something powerful

how so?

the odds that there is life on a another planet is high. considering the number of planets out there..

what do you classify as life? obviously, when you say "life" you mean "an organic being that is so advanced that it has enough presence of mind to travel to far off galaxies and pinpoint a planet in a solar system." have you looked at the statistics that show just how many planets let alone how many galaxies are capable of this?

single celled organisms I don't consider to be life for the purposes of this discussion.

90% of UFO reports are common events misinterpreted for a variety of reasons. It's the other 10%, the ones that defy explanation, which are really interesting.

My money is on ultra black DoD aircraft.

As to aliens, they are almost assuredly out there, but they are probably not visiting us.

we onl y know a small fraction of how many galaxies there are out there. Who is to say one does not have life?

who knows if they have or have not come here? there is no proof one way or the other.

The real question is whether or not we as humans are "special". Once you have other life in the universe besides us, even primordial life, to say there isn't more is foolish.

Astronauts, fighter pilots, commercial pilots, ex presidents, have all witnessed UFO's. And I mean that in the definitive sense of the term. They were unidentified. Whatever they are, they aren't travelling here by any standard means.

Of course they are real. I mean... dude... hope... God... I mean, you must have noticed the small, thin, oval headed grey aliens coming for you in the middle of the night??? Hope you know it's normal procedure?! You didn't know they actually exist? Of course there are UFOs. They come for everyone, at least once a year. I'm astonished that you weren't aware of that. Of course, not everyone notices them cause they keep you sleeping to ease the procedure. Anyway, if you happen to wake up on one of the occasions in the future, don't be alarmed, it's normal.

now i see your argument. because there is no proof either way, you have faith that there is something out there based on statistics and hope. that's fine. i happen to not share the same point of view.

I believe aliens and ufo out there. It possible there are other planets with life forms in our own milky way galaxy.

I'm with you 100%, using statistics to form opinions is a pretty foolish move.

If you get over the hill of whether there's life at all other than what's on earth, then it's not a huge leap to think that some of it might have developed what we would consider intelligence. I think this would be a very rare occurrence, however, and highly doubt that we are being visited by such life-forms.
