Again, 6-12-11 (yes it's June, not December, the video is from the UK) is for an album release. Don't think it's intended to be a focal part of the video.

I think it is a hoax. If you are filming supposed UFO's, are you going to stop and pan down to street level from time to time to film others, who happen to be filming as well? Maybe, but very unlikely.

If you can tape the crowd reacting to it, it adds a bit of legitimacy as they either have to be in on it or it is more than just a camera trick.
