is there a way i can save some time and turn off the auto-save feature in career (or throughout the game) ?

ps3 model, but i'm guessing its the same for the 360

Yeah, how hard could the code have been to have it just check the HDD once and then write over the appropriate files?! Only real annoying part of this game for me.
