Why is UFC having Urijah Faber coach opposing Conor? They aren't even in the same weight class. This makes me think they wanted to do Aldo but Aldo declined (because he knows Conor would make him look bad like he already did leading up to their cancelled fight) so UFC was left having to find somebody else with a more entertaining personality but it still just makes no sense to me. I mean atleast get Frankie Edgar or put Chad Mendes in there at least he's in the same weight class and he could get a full camp to train this time. Sometimes the decisions the UFC makes baffle me, they better sign Fedor this time or I will be pissed! Dana White is a greedy bald rich loser who is even hated by his own mother. That's not a joke, look it up she wrote a book, Dana White King of MMA

It is only 10lbs and Uriah used to fight in that division. Including a title fight with Aldo. Not having to cut so much weight and making a huge payday is a no brainer for Faber. Two of the most popular fighters in the promotion manufacturing a bunch of drama on the show, then pumping up a PPV would be a massive money maker.

they coaches aren't fighting, they already said that

Which makes it even more clear that this was a plan B. They wanted to do TUF Conor vs Aldo and have the title shot for the finale, but Aldo has been a poor sport throughout this episode. He knows UFC is behind Conor so he's basically doing the equivalent of taking his ball and going home.

Aldo doesn't even speak english, so I don't think he was ever in the plan

They wanted Conor because Conor and then they needed another personality to put with him
