UFC fans, what's with the Dana White / Tito Ortiz fight?

I'm kind of out of the UFC loop, I've been busy working on my car and stuff. They're calling tonight's matchup "Bad Blood" I'm just wondering if they're really going to fight, or it's a gimmick or what? Can you catch me up on this and the backstory?

FWIW, the fight is on Spike! at 9:00 Central time

From wikipedia:
On October 10, 2006, Tito announced that on October 20 he will have a boxing match against UFC president Dana White. The match between White and Ortiz was written into Tito's contract when he returned to the UFC [1]. It is a three-round boxing sparring session. The sparring match will be private; it will not be shown to fans or spectators in a live audience, however White said that there is a possibility of them showing the fight somewhere and donating the profits to charity.

Hopefully it's not this crap.

The match never happened unless Tito is bullcrapping to everyone. From what I understand the Spike special is basically a lead up to the actual sparring match. It is Dana and Tito training respectively. The only thing is, I do believe Tito pulled out since he was getting paid for it and was worried about getting hurt with a fight coming up against Rashad Evans.
