That said, Silva is Brazilian and not African American which makes your comment more clearly about the man's skin color and not his citizenship.

im disappointed in the fights, maybe cuz the guys i wanted to win didnt win. anyway, that fight with jon finch and the asian guy was really good...realllly good.

What really pisses me off is how the UFC fans boo a great fighter like Anderson Silva because he's from brazil and not the US. These ignorant UFC fans who don't know anything about MMA need to start watching some international fighters at Pride.
If they would have seen fighters like Anderson Silva and Wanderlei Silva before, Anderson Silva beating Franklin would not have been such a shock.

All in all, I didn't think it was a terribly good card. The Kongo/Carmello fight was a lay n pray fest. The Sherk vs Florian was only interesting b/c Sherk lost about 2 pints of blood from the 2nd round on but it was obvious he was going to gound n pound a decision. The Franklin vs Silva fight was pretty friggin' good but I wasn't happy with the results. However that GIF says it all.
Ya the ufc fans are pretty pathetic, you dont hear any pride fans(in japan) booing the fighters or chanting J-A-P-A-N.
I do wonder how the fans in the pride show next week in vegas will act, most likely like the ufc fans.
don't be a pride dangler. some people just don't like pride or haven't seen it yet. that being said...if you've never seen pride fighting, go youtube some fedor highlight videos. i don't know if he's ever going to lose again...
What?!?! You have got to be kidding! The asian hubris is thick at every Pride event. Sure, they don't chant Japan, but the nationalism is always there.
