UFC 48: Ken Shamrock vs Kimo.

I can't wait, I wonder if Ken has improved any since his last fight. Last time I saw him, he was getting his face punched in by Tito Ortiz.

If UFC 48 is even close to how entertaining UFC 47 was, I'll be happy.


The flying front knee that Robbie Lawler laid on Nick Diaz was killer. It's too bad Robbie wound up getting KTFO.

Good clip! Makes me kinda sad that roughnecks like that guy usually win those kinds of fights. Whenever I go into watching some UFC, I always want to think that some badass ninja with flying jump kicks and hurricane kicks should kick everyone's ass. But nope. It's always just pure brute strength and size (usually). And if it's not them, it's the boring (yet cool) tiny submission grapplers.

Did you guys see the Ortiz fight vs Iceman? Is it just me or any one else think that it's fixed? Perhaps this would give you a little to think about (Vegas wagering odds according to Vegas)

Ortiz odd: -120
Lidell odd: +150

It was odd how Ortiz just stood there to take the punches, and then goes down.

Two things, did you see the way Tito got tied into a pretzel by Randy Couture? He acted basically the same way versus Randy. Apprehensive.

Did you catch Pride Final Conflict in February? If so, you witnessed the kind of punishment that Liddell can take. His corner had to throw in the towel because he refused to tap against Quinton Jackson.

Man, I can't believe Lawler lost that fight, I was rooting him the whole time, I believe a rematch is in order and Lawler should take that kid's head off. I say he got rocked by one of those lucky right swirl.

It definitely was action packed. And, like you, I couldn't believe Robbie lost. If the flying knee had been an inch or two higher, the result would probably have been differnet. (slow-mo-version)
