I watched the whole marathon, and it was my intro to this show. It's so obviously a marketting trick to get people into UFC. But it worked, because I was really into the show. Having seen a few UFC fights here and there, I found it a lot more interesting to see people who weren't great, so that I could better appreciate people who are good. The reality part of the show was kind of boring... noticed that they intentionally hyped someone in each episode as the bad guy.

Anyway the finale was pretty entertaining. I was not expecting to see the deaf dude again. The Ed/Kendall fight was good, a lot more interesting than any boxing match I've seen for a long time.

I thought the finale kicked total ass. I watched a good bit of the TUF3 TV show.... I think I started watching from the Ross/Kendall fight onward. Anyway, like someone else said above, Bisping is VERY impressive... I can't wait to see him fight again, and watch him work his way towards the top, he's very talented. I think he has a fantastic attitude and mindset as well, which I think will be a big benefit to him as well, he doesn't seem to get overly emotional, and is very gracious, respects his opponents, etc.

I think Ed was gonna get the contract win or lose. I think they predicted Ed to win, so they were going to give him the contract, and not Kendall. But when Kendall won, I think that surprised them, so it was really Kendall who they had to write that last minute check to I bet =)

I'm surprised more people aren't into this, exciting stuff, impressive atheletes.

Oh yeah, and Matt Hamil(sp), I think he has some great raw talent, stress on raw though. He's too punch oriented. That's all he really seems to do. This was especially the case in the TUF3 show. He seemed to have a few elbows in the finale, but almost exclusively punches were thrown. He needs to learn submissions, etc., but like I said, his potential, or raw talent is really high, just hope he can become a better overall package and he'll be quite the competitor.

I'm glad that this years fights were both exciting, unlike last years...Bisping's fight was lopsided, but it was still great to see him whoop on that flabby blue-haired guy. Kendall was so close on the two triangles, but his legs just didn't look to be in the right positions...I'm also amazed that Ed didn't tap from the rear naked choke...looked like it was in deep, but Ed still had the strength to move Kendall's arms until the bell rang.

Can't wait to see these guys fighting real UFC fights...Matt too, even if he needs to work on his strikes.
