I'm not sure the force was as important as the shock to the vagus nerve that downed Rousey.

Woman's MMA is still a joke to me, Holm's came in the fight 9-0 and was still a 15-1 underdog? Yea, she should have been the underdog, but to be undefeated and still that far down is absolutely ape shit. Rousey does have better fighters on her record, but a good chunk of hers are against relatively meh fighters. Considering her overall competition Rousey was probably the most overrated and overhyped fighter we'll ever see in MMA. WMMA has a long way to go, it'll definitely get better, but right now it's pretty damn crappy.

Now if Connor loses next month Dana might kill himself. I think Aldo will smash him, that would be fun to watch White crumble.

While that outcome is certainly fine I dot think it will happen. Conor is so big for featherweight. Im more interested to see him move up to lightweight. He wont be as dominant at that weight I dont think.

um.. holms is a kickboxer that came to the ufc this year.
she has had very little time to train on submission defense.

plus throw a kick = taken down by a submission specialist.
that just leaves her w/boxing.

she was going for the clinch. She just got punished for it EVERYTIME. As a grappler she has to charge in to get there and thats what she tried. Didnt work one trick pony yada yada. Holm's coaches had a plan and holm executed it perfectly.

That was the "consensus", or is for the rematch? If it's for the rematch, I'd love to see where it is the consensus, because I don't think it will be easy for Rousey for the most part. It definitely was for the first match though, and I would agree with that. Fwiw, Holms is a boxer, not a kickboxer. She tried kickboxing for a couple of years, but then made a career out of being a boxer.

It's not like she was Anderson tearing thru the best Middleweights in the world. She was beating mostly nobodies. I'm a gambler, and the odds for this fight were way out of wack. Ronda's not that good, she was exposed and if there is a rematch at 200 like rumored. Unless she figures out how to take Holly down, she's getting slaughtered again.

That was actually a successful trip by Rousey. Its was a two stage attack: go for the head toss, and when its countered by sitting down, trip the leg and fall to the side.

Its amazing to me people think Ronda's game plan was to box Holly... The fight I saw was Ronda rushing her trying to get close to take downs and throws. The problem was this time she was getting smashed in the face by a skilled boxer who was able to evade her or counter at every turn.

I'm at work right now, not willing to google search "Holly Holm enlarged clit" or "holly holm weigh in bikini".

Just search for yourself. The pic I'm referring to is her in her pink bikini at the UFC 193 weigh ins. There's a very visible "bulge" in her crotch region. some have speculated it's an enlarged clitoris due to androgen abuse.

Doesn't prove she was currently on them, but means that during her life time, she used them enough to make her clit the size of a small cock.

In order to kind of prove to me the pics are legit, I'd want to see pics from her actual fight that night. Might be tough to see with her white shorts on, but something like that doesn't just go away, and I'm not sure they'd be able to hide it.

Rousey rise and reign kind of, just a little bit reminds me of Brock Lesnar.

Both are pretty much one trick pony's. Bullied and bull rushed their opponents and seemed unbeatable. Until they face a complete fighter.

For Brock it was Valesquez who made him look foolish and started his path to retirement. Will Rousey's follow suit after her really weak standup was exposed by Holm?

Regardless of what happens with Rousey the fight will cause a very fast acceleration of the level at which women's UFC fights will take place. I think until Holm we've been watching some really weak standup, at least at this weight class.
