Big Nog wanted to sub Mir. He had him rocked....bad. All he had to do was keep hitting him until Herb stopped it. He went for the guillotine instead. Nog wanted to beat Mir at his "strength" and make him tap. Didn't work out too well for him...

Great fight, though!

Any updates on his arm?

MIR looking like he almost faltered. sounded pretty arrogant for a guy who caught a lucky break. :D

No way in hell he could ever beat Brock if they fight again. Brock will put him right back in his place.

I wouldn't say that. i am not sure brock is at 100% or ever will be. though i do think that if they fight again (looks likely since rumors of overeem being out) brock will do the same thing he did last time. put him on his back and GNP him.

Not really. It's a violent sport and adrenalin is sky high at the time. Think about it. Guys been punching you in the face and shit probably hurt like hell. You're probably raging and want to inflict much pain as possible to the opponent. If they fall face first and lose a tooth... Oh well.

Hell people were cheering when Dan Henderson did a flying punch to a defenseless KO'd Bisping.

^ Concur with this guy. You are all amped up. People gotta hate Jones because what...he let an unconscious dood fall to the ground? Did you want Jones to cradle him and sing him a lullaby?

Jon Jones upper body should sue his lower body for non-support! Dude has the scrawniest legs I've ever seen on a grown man. My wrists are bigger than his calves!

Gotta prove negligence first, and so far I don't see a case for it. ;)

Just because you're fat doesn't mean you should diss a man. Let's see these mighty wrists of yours.

man that shit is crazy - guess Nog should've tapped.

Bravado is gonna cost him a few fights or the rest of his career. I personally see no shame in tapping on something like that. Some guys can handle a rear naked choke but broken arm...not so much..
hes lucky if that's the only break. Could have been cartilage in the shoulder.

I definitely wouldn't count out Hendo (vs Jones)... Hendo is very good at getting inside a striker's range and causing problems.

Hendo as much as I love him won't last more then three rounds with Jones if he can't knock him out early in the fight.

agreed. I am a huge hendo fan. If hendo is going to win it will have to be in the first round or second. Not that i think the fight will get past that either way.

but war hendo! but i am slightly biased. i am a huge wrestling fan and the guy was amazing. I loved grecko-roman wrestling and watched the olympics (another wrestling buddy got all the matches somehow)

Watched this event a few days ago, great card. That nog arm break was sick. My friend couldn't watch the replays.

Hendo is one of my favorites. Though he lost to Silva he gave him a hell of a run. Not to mention the Bisping knockout, one of the most satisfying knockouts I have ever seen.
And the Fedor fight where he was almost in trouble. The dude is awesome!

Hendo is the man. KO'd Wandelei when he was still the man in pride, went 5 rounds with Rampage when Rampage looked unbeatable, KO'd Fedor, made Bisping his bitch, etc...

Just wish he was 35 instead of 41.:(

Holy shit.

Look at this list of guys he has wins over. Looked it up on wiki
Carlos Newton, Gilbert Yvel, Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira, Renato Sobral (x2), Renzo Gracie, Murilo Rua, Murilo Bustamante, Vitor Belfort, Wanderlei Silva, Rich Franklin, Michael Bisping, Rafael Cavalcante, Fedor Emelianenko and Maurício Rua

Dude is a living legend. He's the new Couture except with KO power.
