another ufc fight not worth the $45 pay-per-view.

GSP, machida, Anderson Silva, and Brock are probably the only one's worth the $45 ppv.

And i guess Penn as well. i'll finally give him the respect he deserves based on him POWNING his opponent in his belt defense last month. Who cares about cardio? No cardio needed when you're dominating like that.

and ok.. maybe Matt hughes tho he's past his prime.

which reminds me... I hope they're going to have the fat guy Roy Nelson (winner of the latest Ultimate Fighter) on PPV.

Dana's the boss. He's smart about marketing and getting people into the seats. Who would get more people to pay $$$ to see. A fat slob like Me or Kimbo?

JDS vs Yvel is really the main event for me, I don't really care about the 3 fights coming afterwards - UFC Fight Night quality.. Thiago vs Rashad should be a co main event.

How this is a PPV and not a Spike special is beyond me. With so many cancellations till the very end this is stacking up to be a fairly lackluster event to buy into. I was in the MGM though last night and the pre-fight atmosphere is there. Lots of "guidos" hanging around making a lot of noise in their Tapout shirts and many muscled up dudes with cauliflower ears with perfect 10's hanging on their arm.

Agreed, another weak card...to make things worse, Michigan State's in a bowl game tonight so the local bars are going to be packed with people. My friends are thinking about staying in and watching the fights...but who really wants to pay $45 to see tonight's card?

That's an unbelievably weak card. If White's smart, he'll sell PPV packages...multi-schedule events at a ppv discount to paying for a single event.

Otherwise there will be too many people pissed off after a crappy night saying 'I'm never going to do that again', which is inevitable they way he's watering the ppv's down.

They were giving Fedor all the money he wanted, but his people wanted to co-promote. No way the UFC ever gives that up.

I can understand that but what about letting Henderson go or not having Moussasi in the ufc?

Moussasi will be in the UFC eventually, and Dana wanted to keep Hendo around but wouldn't pay what Dan was asking. Dan is bad ass and always fun to watch, but he's not a draw. So he doesn't deserve Tito money (sadly) Tito doesn't do shit, but he's still a draw so he gets the $$$. Too bad Dana didn't have Dan fight Tito before he left. I would have loved to see Tito asleep.

Tonights card isn't strong on paper, but it could turn out to still be very good. Some super stacked cards in the past have been very meh. While some "WTF is this??" ones turned out to be quite good.
