Last week, the Gator game was ppv, so i had to go to a bar to watch it. But, the Bucs game was broadcast.. so I stay home to watch it. It's on CBS.. and NOT in hdtv. Aren't they required by law to broadcast HDTV by now?

Then.. the Gator vs Tennessee game (one of the biggest college games this weekend) is at 8pm on CBS - PRIME TIME. It's not in HDTV, according to CBS's hdtv listings. ARGHHHHH

CBS led the HD curve years before half of the other current HD channels existed.

Sorry your game wasn't in HD, but this seems like crying over spilt milk.

Coincidence - I saw a commercial for the game last night and the commercial started by saying broadcast in hi-def as a draw to the game. We'll see, but I'll bet it is. I'm looking forward to it!

ABC and CBS HD sucks anyway, their compression creates way too many artifacts and blurriness. Fox, NBC, and ESPN HD is *MUCH* better.

It's listed as HD here. I hope so cause I've got people coming to watch. Last weeks broadcast was pure crap!

Must be the OP's local affiliate. I'm stealing the LA feed via satellite and they have it listed as HD.

Hahahaaaa... It just clicked. I'm in Alaska and I'm going to get a better game than someone in the "real world".

I really doubt that game won't be in HD. If it isn't, then we all send angry e-mails.

-edit- checked my local affiliate. It is indeed in HD (well, they list it as HD). OP - try yours to see if they list it as HD.

I am watching it in HD in Dallas right now. In fact it's one of the better pictures I have seen on a footbal game in quite a while.
