On My A7n8x Deluxe 2.0 I was looking at some of my bios options...
Graphics Apeture Size 64 is default! I can raise or lower it... What is that for? I have a Ati 9800np w/128m... over clocked to pro! Should I set that to 128 or am I a complete dumbass!

PLus... I was told to set the AGP Frequency from auto to 66! Why would I want to do that? Plus what else could I even ues?

64MB for the AGP aperture is fine. The AGP Aperture is merely an "overflow area" in RAM for texture memory, and is only allocated on demand. Unless you have 196MB of textures, (128MB on card, 64MB aperture), you won't be needing any more. There isn't any real performance gain for increasing it, although you might want to bump it up to 128MB just to be on the safe side.

Normally, the AGP frequency is linked to the FSB; when you increase the FSB, AGP speed increases. Some video cards are not able to handle higher than usual AGP speeds. Setting it to 66MHz locks the AGP bus at the normal 66MHz, meaning that AGP speed doesn't increase as FSB increases.

Yeah to keep the AGP stable it should be at 66
But if you don't do overclocking, then leaving it at auto would be fine.

Graphics Apeture Size..
I think there was a thread before about this question..
I've changed mine from 64MB to 128MB and I am using a radeon 9700 pro

don't even feel any difference by doing that... not even on benchmark
