UDMA and UATA

I just got this mobo as the foundation for my new rig: http://www.ecs.com.tw/products/k7s5a.htm

and now I'm looking to get a hard drive for it. the boards description says this:
"Dual PCI IDE interfaces - support four IDE devices (PIO mode 4, DMA Mode 2, Ultra DMA 33/66/100)"

My question is what's the difference between Ultra DMA and Ultra ATA and are they compatible?

Could I install a Ultra ATA 100 hard drive on this?

I'm just starting to learn all about the hardware aspect of things so any help would be appreciated....

its the same thing really .. the names are use interchanged .. really its ata100 and udma5 .. but eh you know how names are in computers .. well yes they are compatible, they are the same thing .. hope this helps .. good luck ..
