Hi all. I'm having some trouble getting my mic to work correctly. In Windows XP, the Realtek HD audio manager detects my mic correctly whenever I plug it in. However I'm unable to change the volume and volume slider in windows volume control is all grayed out. I'm currently using the hd audio setting in the ud3p bios. Has anyone else come across this problem? Thanks

No, I have it turned off. I also tried re-installing the audio drivers from the Gigabyte website, but that didn't work as well. The strange thing is that my mic works total fine in Vista. I don't know what's causing it to not work in XP.

Nvm, I fixed it. The mic volume was all grayed out, but you could still adjust the volume using the recording volume slider.
