UCSB appeal victory

Hey just thought i'd share... back in march, i found out i got rejected by UCSB for whatever reason; i deserved to get in w/ my grades and sat's/II's... anyway, I immediately got to work on an appeal; wrote letter, got teacher rec.'s, transcripts, etc, and sent it all in... well a couple weeks ago i was notified that I had won the appeal. Needless to say i was very content with this. Just today I found out that I will also get housing, which is not guaranteed for appeals... It has all worked out very well; just thought i'd share this info for anyone interested, or that may be in my position someday...

Same shoes I was in. However I am no longer there. Most likely you will be in Francisco Torres and be too lazy to goto class. No regrets here though...

thanks all... yeah i'm excited about it all... I get regular priority housing, to boot; won't get stuck with any of the crap... it turned out well for sure
