we were overrrated to begin with. i knew that ranking was inflated because of our win over SC and the fact that we're returning 20 started. it's ridiculous and i didn't think we could ever live up to that ranking with how strong the pac-10 is this year.

but i did not expect this shellacking.

i hate you karl dorrell. ben olson had so much talent coming in and it's all wasted. wasted! it's steve lavin all over again!

UCLA is ALWAYS overrated. Always. Every year. Every time they lose it's an embarrassing loss. They pick up random victories from time to time that make them shine. Remember 2005 year? They were pretty decent that year. Beating Cal was great but we had a crappy@$$ QB anyways. However getting shut out by Arizona that year and then getting stomped by U$C showed the lack of a real defensive team.

In 2006 UCLA improved. 13-9 was a bit of luck with USC having their offense out of sync. Same thing this year. When you're beating Stanfurd giving them so many chances in scoring, it shows that you guys need to fix up your defense. The BYU game was sloppy too. I think it was a matter of time before UCLA lost a confidence booster game. To be honest, I wanted UCLA to win today. I wanted the Cal UCLA game to be huge like in 2005.
