Being the elite public institution that is UCLA, every Wendesday during finals week, we have the unofficial "undie run"..where at midnight thousands upon thousands of people run through campus in their undies. It started just a few years ago with a frat, and what grew from dozens of people turned into hundreds, into thousands, and into what were at least 10,000 people here tonight..some of whom go here and plenty of whom who don't.

I tried to document it was well as I could but once we "finished" the route my camera's batteries died =/ That was when the fun began though when people would go into our fountain and splash everyone else for a good hour or so.

Shaky crappy videos taken while I was drunk, running, and faced being crushed by a few thousand people..

WEAK. at UCSC they run NAKED, to celebrate the first rain of the school year. that means they run naked in the rain. you wimps run in your undies in the summer.
 
that's funny. the undie run started one of my last years there and i dont think i know anyone who did it. sounds like fun now.

i think it was the phoenix that rose from the ashes of the 'midnight yell' controversy.

And Berkeley runs naked during finals week. There's videos online somewhere, if you care to look for them.
